Good to Go Jamaican Restaurant: Authentic Caribbean Cuisine in Hinesville

Awesome flavor!! Couldn’t take a picture cause I was eating it too fast. I was missing good Jamaican food and this restaurant has it. Authentic jerk possibly the best in the area. At least for me and believe me I’ve been searching… you can also purchase several different Jamaican brands from them as well. I bought some other things too. Ms. Beverly explained how to season and cook my own oxtails that I purchased here today.

The food was authentic and a huge portion. The cocktail was lethal, I had to take a nap from the rum. Lol

Greeted with 6 smiles of all the staff! Leave with a room full of new friends ! The staff is incredibly friendly, the atmosphere is upbeat, clean and authentic! The wings are crispy, juicy and full of flavor! The ox tail and jerk chicken fall off the bone and melt in your mouth! Rich in flavor and cooked to perfection. The rice abs peas was fantastic and the plantains were so sweet, crispy and perfectly cooked! Thanks for everything and can't wait to come back! See you tomorrow !

Excellent food. The oxtail so tender and curry goat worth eating again and again.. The Salt fish was also Excellent. Yes get the plantains X2.

I don't even live in Hinesville anymore, but I come down once a month to eat here! That is how good the food is, and it is reasonably priced with good portions. EVERYTHING is just delish, and I always have a hard time deciding what I want. I normally end up ordering one meal to go in addition! This place is beyond excellent & the owners are top shelf!! They are always very gracious and accommodating. This is my first stop every time I am in town. I can't wait to eat there next week!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place!

A great place to chill, get something to eat. And relax. And it comes with good music. What more can you say, and you can chill outside. Remember to tip your DoorDash/Uber eats drivers. They deliver through both apps as well.

I was in the Hinesville area for work last week. I saw that Good To Go Jamaican Restaurant was near my hotel, and it had solid reviews. The place wasn’t super crowded probably due to it being a week day. I honestly was not super hungry when I went, so I originally tried to order a chicken patty and soup. They were out of those items, so I tried the curry chicken and my dinner mate had the oxtails and curry goat. Service was fast and the food was really good. The oxtails, curry goat, and jerk chicken were all so tender and seasoned properly. It was a good choice to try. I really enjoyed the food and would definitely try this place again. I’d love to try the patties next time.

We've been coming here several times because my son just loves this restaurant! They have a van outside selling sugar cane and coconut water at the parking lot on Fridays and my kids love to chew on those sugar canes! This time my son ordered chicken brown stew with beans and rice and the stew was very delicious! We have tried the oxtail stew, jerk chicken, goat curry, shrimp and fries and they were all delicious even though the curry was a little salty to my taste. My son's plan is to try everything..lol.. we love the atmosphere, the music, and the workers are so nice! When I say they're delicious, I really mean it because I have tried other places' jerk chicken and goat curry, but they didn't really hit the spot as this restaurant. It's the spices used and the unique flavor of each dish that really stands out! My daughter always sticks to the shrimp and fries while my son tries different dish each time. We'll be coming back again!
